Using the Search Feature

Enter keywords - any text pertaining to your search. Choose the search method - find all words, any words, or the exact phrase. You may also perform an advanced search of the database.

Choose whether you wish to find the exact words as entered, or a near search of similar keywords (helpful when you are not sure of the spelling or if there are multiple spellings). The similar keywords search is not applicable in the advanced search.

Select from the category list if you wish to narrow your search to specific categories. If you do not select a category, the search will automatically look in all categories.

Browsing Ads

Browse all of the ads in a category. If you are signed in, you can store ads in your list by clicking "Add to My List" in the top of the ad. Click "Close This Window" to close the ad.

In each ad, there are options to send email to the advertiser (only for display ads), visit their web site (only for display ads), print the ad out, and send the ad to a friend.

Registration

Becoming a registered user allows you to receive Email Alerts and store ads in a personalized list. Registration is easy. Enter your email address, name, zip code, and choose a password. Your email address will be your user ID for signing in. Once you are registered, you will be automatically signed in.

When you are signed in, this option allows you to update your registration information.

Sign In

Sign in using your email address and password. Once you are signed in, you can view your personalized list of ads, and request email alerts.

Once you are done with your session, you can click here again to sign out.

My List

You have the option of storing an ad from the search results in a custom list for convenient retrieval. When browsing an ad, click "Add to My List" to place the ad in your list. You can store up to 20 ads in your list. To edit your list, check the boxes next to the ads you want to remove from your list.

Email Alert

Automatically receive an email when an ad arrives of your interests! Enter your search criteria as you would when searching for ads - the database will immediately send you an email notification when the ad you seek arrives! It's a convenient way to keep up to date on specials you want to know about. Create an email alert by selecting "Add", then select search criteria for your alert. In addition, when searching or browsing, click 'Add this search to your email alerts' to receive an email whenever a new ad in your search arrives. You can also remove alerts here by clicking on "Remove". You can have up to 5 email alerts running.
